Big Man Down

It has been almost two weeks since I last posted an article thanks to neuropathy. It has been one of the toughest side effects to deal with during this journey. It didn't really hit until after my 10th treatment, but when it hit, it hit hard. It looks like it can last up to a year if it is not permanent.

You never realize the simple things you take for granite until they become a challenge for you physically.
I've had to humble myself to ask for help with these small things like:

• Tying my shoes
• Buttoning pants/shirts
• Cutting up food
• Opening packets of condiments
• Folding clothes
• Etc.

The doctors tell me this could last up to one year. I am rebuking that message. :-)
