Happy Saturday! It's a beautiful day (weather) today. Everyday is beautiful and a gift, remember that. So nice in fact, that I decided to take my car to a car show. Oh sorry, no I drove my car to a car show, this beautiful car in the picture belongs to someone else. (haha) I just sent an email out to my list of clients, business partners and future business partners and the title was, 'Quit Dreaming! Make Every Day A Saturday. Saturday for many, is a fun day,

Right? Why? Because it's the one day that work isn't on the forefront of our minds. What about Sunday? Well, you know for many Sunday is when they start dreading that the next day is.... That's right! You guessed it, Monday. Sadly, there are some that work 7 days a week just to get by and even then, some need an 8th day. Trust me, I know, I have lived it.

This is why I challenged my list and I challenge you as well, to STOP DREAMING and MAKE EVERY DAY SATURDAY! How do you do this? Simple. (Well Partially) You make a plan. Planning is the simple part. The execution is the hardest part. But if you plan well, you won't quit until every day is a Saturday.

Can you do this? Yes. The real question is, do you want to do this? And that's the real crux of the problem. Most are not willing to do the things required to live a life that most people can't. That's why they are called the 1%. Do they know a secret that you don't? No! They planned and they executed it. Plain and simple. Now I am not speaking to trust fund babies, in essence they are lottery winners.

That's right, I imagine the odds are similar of being born a trust fund baby as they are to winning the lottery. Think of it this way. You can start with a clean slate and achieve what you want to achieve. Sure, there may be limitations you need to overcome, but for the most part you have access to create the lifestyle of your dreams. You just need the plan, elbow grease, desire and no quit attitude. Here's a simple plan below.
  • Define Your Why - This is your foundation. If you do not have a strong enough 'Why" then you will quit after the time a little adversity decides to challenge you and your dream. Simon Sinek was able to write an entire book on just this topic alone, so yeah, it's that important. Your why can be many things. It usually comes from your greatest pain points or your greatest pleasure points. Maybe your tired of telling your kids no! Maybe you are tired of more month than paycheck. Only you can define your why, but there are plenty of resources to help.
  • Define Your Vision - This is your ultimate destination, your end game goal that you want to achieve with your business. Knowing this enables you to be intentional with your goalsetting, planning and ultimately accomplish your why for doing this business.
  • Define Your Mission - We are all purposed to serve and to give back to those less fortunate than ourselves. What's your driving mission? How will you impact humanity for good? Build schools, volunteer more, support charities, give more to your church, help end hunger or homelessness in your community, There are countless ways for you to impact your community, maybe even the world.
  • Find Your Vehicle - This is your path to accomplish all the things you have chosen to do. Are you going to build a business? Get better training for a higher paying job? Remember jobs don't allow you to make every day a Saturday, but if you love what you do, work doesn't feel like work so much Monday through Friday. Selfishly, I would like to add if you are looking for an opportunity, click the text 'find your vehicle' you can always partner directly with me.
  • Make A Promise - To yourself and others that no matter how hard it gets, you will not quit. Remember your why and keep pushing each day towards your goals. Trust me, it will get hard, but with each new day, you get better, stronger and more focused.

Listen, I hate to use this tired quip, but it rings true. If I can do this, then YOU can do this. And in the words of the late, great Jimmy V, "Don't Give Up, Don't Ever Give Up!"
